Who Won The Console War?
Fight! We're talking about – or, rather, arguing over – who won the console war. From the nostalgia consoles of our childhoods to the newest generation consoles, Matt, Marissa, and Sacco dive into it all. And, this includes a discussion about exclusives, controllers, hardware, and user interfaces.
Marissa starts the great debate with who she thinks lost the console war (big shoutout to her parents for trying their best). From there, we have a brief moment of peace in the video game console debate in which the three heathens discuss the true winner of the war.
From there, the fight starts with a discussion about the layout and size of the controllers. And, in the controller debate, no one agrees. They then discuss such amazing exclusives as The Last of Us and Halo and debate whether these exclusives help or hinder the gaming community. Marissa then chats about the affordability of the consoles, with a big shoutout to the Xbox Series S.
The conversation moves into the user interface. And, Marissa and Matt have polar opposite views on UI. Sacco chimes in to attest to the hardware of each console. And then, we close it out with our final thoughts and the games we're currently playing.
Stay tuned to the end for a blooper.
